A rich and enveloping Montepulciano d’Abruzzo that expresses the warmth, depth and authenticity of the Abruzzo hills.

Crafted from organically grown Montepulciano grapes cultivated on the clay-limestone hills of Teramo, this wine reveals the pure expression of Abruzzo’s most iconic red grape. Vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness and varietal character, it opens with notes of dark cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, followed by delicate hints of liquorice and black pepper. The palate is generous and enveloping, with soft tannins, remarkable structure and a long persistent finish.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with delicate violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of amarena cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant intertwine with notes of liquorice and black pepper. On the palate it is enveloping and structured, with elegant tannins and a long persistent finish.

Perfect with rich pasta dishes, slow-cooked meats, roasted red meat, aged cheeses and traditional Abruzzese cuisine.

Technical features

Hand-harvested Montepulciano grapes from the hills of Teramo, grown on clay-limestone soils at 350 metres above sea level. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with frequent manual pump-overs to preserve purity, structure and aromatic expression.
