Winery
We are committed to producing high quality organic wines, reflecting the richness and diversity of our beloved Abruzzo, with the aim of becoming a point of reference for those looking for organic wines from Abruzzo
Uma Casanatura brings the richness and authenticity of Abruzzo wine directly to your home
Ambassadors of Abruzzo heritage
We provide an authentic experience of Abruzzo wine, with respect for nature at the heart of everything we do.
MONTEPULCIANO
The distinctive characteristics of these wines are their intense colour, the complex and fruity bouquet and the full and harmonious flavour.
TRUFFLE BED
3 hectares of oak, holm oak, hazelnut and black hornbeam truffles
SUSTAINABLE WATER SELF-SUFFICIENCY
All the crops are near a private lake used to feed them through an advanced irrigation system protected from external contamination thanks to the estate's 15 hectares of pastures and woods.
PECORINO
This vine, which once almost disappeared, has recently been rediscovered and valorised thanks to the efforts of local producers. Pecorino is loved for its aromatic complexity, which ranges from notes of tropical fruit and citrus to floral and mineral nuances.
WINERY
The winery is located in 31 hectares of biodiversity between Cellino Attanasio and Atri, in the province of Teramo. This oasis consists of 9 hectares of vineyards from which we produce excellent Abruzzo wines such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino and Cerasuolo.
OUR HOME IS THE NATURE THAT HOSTS US
What Abruzzo, our region, offers has an immense naturalistic value, which is why we try to make the most of it also with our activity. In our 9 hectares of vines we produce excellent regional wines including Montepulciano, one of the most representative varieties of this land. Our goal is to help spread the knowledge of wine and the beauty of this context, where "tranquility, light and splendor" offer a great balance.
Discover moreThe Benni family founded the Uma Casanatura farm in 2013 with the intention of taking care of the area and producing organic agricultural products such as wine, truffles and extra virgin olive oil. The company, surrounded by national parks and nature reserves, is located in Abruzzo, between the towns of Cellino Attanasio and Atri. To start a path towards environmental sustainability, the Benni family has recovered an abandoned olive grove and uses an adjacent lake for irrigation. The company's goal is to enhance the diversity of the territory using innovative techniques and respecting tradition.

Testimonials
Alberto - Gallwey Ireland
We had the opportunity to taste an excellent bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo UMACASANATURA, an excellent wine to be tasted in the company of a nice plate of red meat and to finish with a plate of cheese. We were happy with the quality and the cost. I'll try the other products very soon.
Alberto & Mira - United Kingdom
After having tried and appreciated several UMACASANATURA products I must say that the monocultivar EVO oil has impressed me, excellent, fruity at the right point, with an almond aftertaste that I love. It gives an extra note to everything you season raw. Congratulations UMA. Alberto & Mira 🧑🏻🍳🥬🍑🥦🥑😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Being interested in Bio products, we have decided to try every single product offered by this great small family winery. Order and delivery to Czech Republic was very smooth and fast without any issues. First of all, the best of the best you can get from Uma is the oil, the extra virgin oil is extraordinary.

The significance of the roses at the beginning of the vineyard row
For Uma Casanatura, roses have a dual, symbolic, and profound significance. We know that roses are important for human relationships as much as for the vineyards.
